2025-2026
DECODE
This year we decided to do the leagues.
This was our first tournament. Even though it was so early in the season, we had managed to build and code a basic working robot which worked better than most other robots. We ended up 6th place in the league!
South Bay League Meet 2
Before this tournament, we tried to iterate on our shooter design by swapping it for a single flywheel, but it didn't work well with our robot. We placed 12th and learnt that not every idea goes as planned.
South Bay League Meet 3
Learning from our experiences on the last league meet, we started to iterate and build a second robot but it wasn't completed in time. Instead, we optimized our first bot and ended up 10th place. Additionally, we also found a tactic to gain a bunch of penalty points - pushing an opponent robot into our gate would get us major foul points.
South Bay League Tournament
Our last competition featured our second robot in action. With it we managed to win enough matches to get us 8th place, and into the playoffs. While we did not get to the finals or regionals, we managed to get 5th place!
