Meet The Team
About Team RMS Chimera
We are a team of 6th, 7th and 8th graders from Redwood Middle School, in Saratoga. We all enjoy robotics and are learning a lot from FTC. We have learned many invaluable lessons about working respectfully as a team while realizing the difficulties involved in designing and building any robot. In our rookie year, 2021-2022, our team was 5th in the Silicon Valley Division at the Northern California Regional Championship.
Era Dharwadkar: Programmer, Team Strategist, Team Management Lead, RMS FTC Club President
Era is a 7th grader at Redwood Middle School. She loves to write and spend time with friends. This is her second year in FTC and she loves being part of the team. Outside of robotics, she enjoys playing golf
Dhruv Sumant: Team Hardware Lead, Human Player, CAD, RMS FTC Club Vice President
Dhruv (Sumant) is an 8th grader at Redwood Middle School. He is enthusiastic, brings a positive attitude to everything he does, and is an outstanding team member. He loves building and engineering, and he is the hardware lead for his FTC team. Now in his third year of FTC, he continues, and faces the challenges at hand.
Outside of robotics, Dhruv enjoys playing tennis, golfing, and skiing.
Atul Ashok: Team Software Lead, Hardware, Driver
Atul is a 7th grader at Redwood Middle School. He loves to play video games and spend time with friends. This is his second year in FTC and he is a great team player
Markus Takeuchi: Hardware, Strategist, Driver
Markus is a 7th grader at Redwood Middle School. It is his 2nd year of FTC and enjoys playing sports and eating food. He loves to drive and troubleshoot.
Aadhya Agrawal: Hardware, Strategist, Outreach
This is Aadhya's first year in FTC Robotics. She is going to be in seventh grade. Some of her hobbies are hanging out with friends, eating, playing pickleball, and crocheting.
Linda Rong: Hardware, Strategist, Outreach
Linda is a 7th grader at Redwood Middle School. She likes spending time with her friends, reading, and crocheting. This is her first year in FTC and she is excited for spending the season with her new team. Outside of robotics, she enjoys playing volleyball and cello.
Shlok Khandelwal: Programmer, Strategist, Outreach
Shlok is a 8th grader at Redwood Middle School. He enjoys math, coding, and spends time learning how computers work. He is part of the school's orchestra, playing the violin. Shlok is really excited to be coding for the team.
